I’m Rob Clifton and I’ve been involved in and around seashell collecting & dealing for much of my 47 years.

For me it all began when I was about ten yrs old and I first started to explore & dive in the pristine waters surrounding Rottnest Island (Located off Fremantle, West Australia), after my father took up a working position there in the late seventies. From that time on my interests in shells, diving, the ocean environment and marine life in general, continued to grow… Lots of interesting times followed, including a number of years working with a prominent Australian dealer of the time.

Finaly, in 1997 I began my own small & specialised business, dealing almost exclusively in select quality Australian seashells in all their infinite beauty & variety!!!… In the years since I have come to know many of you very well, and I look forward to providing the same high standard of friendly personalised service & first class shells to many more in the future…

BCMS is run solo by me, & so you will be dealing with me directly in all communications.
